I am board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology both in Adult Psychiatry and in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.  I am an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Stanford University School of Medicine and a member of the psychiatric medical staff at Stanford Hospital and Clinics and of Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford. Since 2002 I have been listed by Best Doctors in America.

Since completing residency I have worked in the field of Psychiatry for 22 years as a clinician, teacher and researcher.

I joined the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine in 2001. From 2003-2010 I was the Director of the Child and Adolescent Depression Clinic.

Before my move to the Bay Area, I was a psychiatry faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a nationally recognized center of excellence in the field of Psychiatry.  At the University of Pittsburgh I was the Director of a specialized out-patient program providing mental health services to medically ill children, adolescents and their families.
